My team and I had an amazing time at the PDD hackathon this past weekend. Thank you to Greg Tanaka and the PDD team for putting together an event that pushed everyone to think fast, build fast, and ship something real.
Our project, IdeaForge, helps people evaluate ideas with structure. You enter an idea, and the system generates roles, creates ally and adversary personas, runs two debate rounds, and produces a polished plan with risks, guardrails, scope, KPIs, and next steps. All from text input and no integrations.
We built it with Next.js 14, TypeScript, Tailwind, and Toolhouse.ai agents running the full debate pipeline. Although we didn't win, we had a great time learning new tools and meeting industry experts.
